Following several years of ministry training under Pastor Jack Hayford, Pastor Wayne served at another local church in the South Bay for thirteen years as the Associate Pastor and Ministries Coordinator.  Pastor Wayne is recognized and known for having a servant’s heart and for being a man of utmost integrity.  He patterns his life and ministry after Jesus who stated in Matthew 20:28, “Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” 

    Recognizing that God has a strong anointing and call on their life for sharing the Gospel with purity, Pastor Wayne and Marian founded and pioneered New Life Christian Church.  Their vision is to lead people into the presence and power of God through a personal relationship with Jesus.  With bold and abiding faith they have witnessed God move in miraculous ways.  Testimonies of healings, restoration of marriages and family relationships, financial breakthroughs, deliverance from depression and substance abuse are all indications that God is still greater than any of life’s challenges.

   Pastor Wayne teaches and preaches the Word with simplicity, humor and incredible passion.  He has a dynamic ability to impart understanding of the Scripture’s in a very real and practical fashion.  He has a true sensitivity to hear the Spirit of God and ministers with a strong healing and prophetic anointing.  Every message leads people to the victory and triumph of Jesus at Calvary!

   In addition to pastoring New Life Christian Church, Pastor Wayne is an active member of the South Bay community.  He has been a “Police Chaplain” since 1992, and a “Reserve Police Officer” since 1995 for the City of Torrance.  He has received numerous letters of appreciation for his dedication and commitment to the Police Department and the Torrance community.  In 1995, Pastor Wayne received the “Distinguished Service Award” from the South Bay Medal of Valor Committee for heroic action in the line of duty.

    In conclusion, the dream and desire of Pastor Wayne and Marian is to raise up a strong family of Christians, providing a place of true worship where the presence and power of God is very real.  Their aim is to serve as Christ did, reach the local community and bring ‘New Life’ to the nations in Jesus Name!

    Marian is both a gifted and compassionate teacher.  She strongly believes in the power of prayer and the victory it brings to the believers life.  Marian is proud to serve the women of this church and notes, "Our times of fellowship have been so rewarding and fun as we share the Word, and pray for one another". 

    When not serving the church body you can find Marian enjoying some quite time with her horse or at the local Starbucks.
 
   Marian and Pastor Wayne have been married 22 years.  Together, they have one son named Christopher (18) years.
